Jonathan Newey - Wildlife, Abstract & Architecture Artist
Born in Reading, England, Jonathan comes from a long line of artists in his family. He is considered to be one of the UK's top coloured pencil and graphite artists. He specialises in wildlife drawings in pencil but also does paintings of wildlife, architecture and abstract in acrylic and watercolour.
Jonathan Newey, an award winning artist with over 25 years of experience in both drawing and painting. Jonathan comes from a long line of artists in his family and has extensive experience in a wide range of mediums and subject matter. Jonathan specialises in acrylic paintings of wildlife, coloured pencil and graphite drawings of wildlife and acrylic paintings of old, neglected buildings especially in the mediterranean area.
Jonathan has over 16 years experience as a teacher and lecturer and has taught in local and national adult education colleges and has also taught in various countries around the world such as Greece, Cyprus, Spain, France and Italy.
