Jacqueline Gaylard - Wildife Artist and Feline Cat Artist

Jacqyueline Gaylard was born in England in 1972. For most of Jacqueline's childhood she lived in a village near Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire and this is where her passion for drawing and painting began. Following Jacquelines training as a Graphic Designer (BTEC HND), she decided to try to convert her passion for painting into a full-time career. Having successfully exhibited her paintings; within a year she had fulfilled her ambition to become a professional Artist. Jacqueline lives with her family in Devon and delights in the abundance of wildlife and spectacular scenery that surrounds her studio. Painting a wide variety of subjects, animals are undoubtedly one of her favourites, whether wild or domestic. Jacqueline has always enjoyed painting cats and as a member of the Society of Feline Artists (S.O.F.A) she has the opportunity to explore her passion of portraying the complex feline form. She exhibits at the prestigious Llewellyn Alexander Gallery, Waterloo, London and has exhibited in the S.O.F.A exhibition held at the gallery for the past twelve years. Jacqueline is also a member of the Marwell International Wildlife Art Society (MIWAS) and The Wildlife Art Society (TWASI). She has exhibited in the National Exhibition Wildlife Art (NEWA) and has successfully shown with the Society of Wildlife Artists (SWLA) and the Royal Society of Portrait Painters at the Mall Galleries, London. Several of her feline paintings have been successfully reproduced as greeting cards and calendars by Hallmark Cards (U.K & N. America), The Medici Society, The Paperhouse Group and Rembrandt's Hat.
